A scarce first edition in the jacket, issued under a generally uncommon imprint. One of several adventure tales set in Africa by the good Reverend Southon. The autograph inscription on the title reads, ‘Rev & Mrs Oliver J. Griffin with the author’s affectionate regards.’ The adverts at the back include ‘Drums of Fate [Ready Sept., 1928]’.
