The scarce second Saint novel by Charteris, following ‘Meet the Tiger’ – Charteris himself often selectively declared this as the first Simon Templar book, for reasons of continuity, this being the first to use ‘The Saint’ in the title. Uncommon in the original dust-jacket, especially as here in such good condition and without restoration.
