Internally very good, original black boards, spine lettered in gilt with publisher’s device in gilt at foot, front board stamped in blind with drawing of a skull, a single fifty-dollar gold piece stamped in gilt in each eye socket, some bumping and minor rubbing, original Richard Chopping dust-jacket, unclipped, some rubbing, slightly tanned and rubbed at spine with some chipping and minor loss to head of spine, otherwise a very good example.
The seventh in the James Bond canon, and the first ‘Bond Blockbuster’ cinematically. This is the second state binding, without the little ‘dink’ to the skull on upper cover.
