Martin (Ed.) To Hell with the Law
£195
London, Columbine Publishing Company, [1939].
First edition. 8vo. 2pp. advertisements. Original red cloth. Dust-jacket, correctly priced at 3/6.
With jacket artwork that looks like a scene straight out of the 2019 film Joker, this is an attractive first edition from a rare imprint, Columbine (appropriately enough the name of Pierrot’s wife in the ‘Commedia dell’Arte’).

Rare crime title, all other copies I have seen of this title are described as ‘7th Thousand’.
London, Skeffington, [1930 according to COPAC]
Reasonable to assume this was a publisher gimmick to show titles were popular.
