Provenance: James H. Heineman (bookplate with Wodehouse motifs). Heineman (1917-1994) was a prominent New York publisher and renowned P.G. Wodehouse collector, known for his extensive Wodehouse memorabilia and significant contributions to Wodehouse scholarship, co-editing the 1981 centenary celebration book and working on the definitive bibliography, solidifying his place as a major figure in Wodehouse fandom.
